This vase is slab and hand formed, dried slowly, then painted with colorful underglazes, and fired for the first time. To give the vase the feel of an aged heirloom, the vase is washed with a dark stain before delicate details are added with tiny paintbrushes, airbrushed for even more depth, and the vase is fired a second time.
