Checkmate Basket A150669 Giclee print on paper takenThe "Checkmate Basket" is an artistic interpretation of the many moves played during a game of chess. Made with annealed steel wire, the black and white squares are created from layers of papers adhered together. Each square has a different diagram also made with paper: bold black and red lines on white, or more subtle white lines on black. A vintage button and glass bead complete the basket in the center of the base. The Checkmate Basket is strong,
