Gath Surf Convertible Helmet Youth Dept. Designed by Al Merrick forThe Gath Surf Convertible Helmet (SFC) is based off the original Gath Pro Surf Helmet, but with the addition of removable ears. This accomplishes a couple things. 1st The ears are removable for those who dont like to have their ears covered can take them off, and also the ear pieces are more flexible than the original full shell design so it can fit people with wider jaw lines more easily which makes fitting the helmet easier.
