The vineyards of Gros Nore surround not only the fields surrounding the winery on the aptly named Chemin de l’Argile (the clay road)

Their Blanc de Noirs is crafted in stainless steel tanks (for fermentation and aging)

it's a wine of tremendous nerve and run

with a range of aromas and flavors from stony mineral notes to citrus to tropical fruit

and classic terra rossa of red clay loam over marl limestone

The palate is restrained and elegant. It displays the same fruit characters of white peach and nectarine through out. The mid and back palates are driven by a gentle line of grapefruit like acid.
