We vinify this cru from 1985 and this is one of the two oldest vineyards of ours planted in 1946 on the central crest of Cannubi hill

Aromas of pear candied fruit and spice with hints of honey and that distinctive chalkiness that is so typical of great Vouvray

The palette is rich and mouth filling with fresh fruit

The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed and the cap held down during the ferment to create a gentle infusion

Expressive aromas of floral, fruity and mineral accents. Very elegant taste with freshness and character in the expressive, yet refined texture. Very interesting wine with great finesse and a delightful rich mineral aftertaste. Lovely on its own or as a companion with fine red meat, extra long ripened ham or stuffed red peppers.
