Semi transparent colored glass is layered vertically, so that the viewer experiences tones blending and changing with each new step as they walk past. From purple to blue and back again, the hues smoothly shift, revealing a beauty unique to glass. Otsuki intentionally kept the shape of this vase simple to emphasize the fluid
