Land Rover do sell upgraded scuff plates which have a metal insert in (available for front doors only) but you have to purchase the complete plastic tread plate section complete with scuff plate (see part number LRXI587)

The button will also pop out from the existing door handle and then can be transferred to the new door handle "skin"

When we say "easy" it means you don't need to lift the engine gearbox. As you will see in the below videos the original sump(plastic) and filter are one assembly and its impossible to remove the sump filer without lifting the gearbox to clear the chassis cross member.
