Rodrigo Mendez Rias Baixas Albarino Cies 2024 Old Rioja Most Cava at this levelNamed for the beautiful islands at the mouth of Vigo Estuary, this albarino is a throwback to a different era. Native yeast fermentation, natural temperature regulation, and only a small amount aged in stainless steel, this style is more similar to the region pre mechanization. Serious and salty with notes of orange zest, meyer lemon, pear, and honeysuckle, it drinks as beautiful as the islands it's named for.
