Cantina Terlano-Kellerei Terlan 'Porphyr Riserva' Lagrein Alto Adige, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy 2020 Maison Gustave Lorentz A delicate ruby colourThe 2020 Lagrein Riserva Porphyr opens with a mentholated freshness, as wild herbs and sweet smoke nuances accentuate crushed blackberries. This is silky and elegant on the palate, displaying polished red and black fruits complicated by a sour citrus hint. The Riserva Porphyr finishes structured and long, leaving a bitter twang of wild berries and fine grained tannins that adds youthful tension.
